Taita Hector Ortiz
Taita Hector Alirio Ortiz Jimenez was born in the Colombian city of Ibague, Tolima. As a musician, singer, and songwriter, he has produced 2 records of healing shamanic spiritual music of praise.
He started his ancestral Amazonian cultural studies related to Ayahuasca-Yage in 2002 by becoming a disciple of Taita Ruber Garreta, of the Inga community, in the lower Putumayo region, humid and tropical zone in the Colombian Amazon. His formation continued under the spiritual guidance of Taita Guillermo Mavisoy Mutumbajoy and Taita Jose Bernardo Chindoy Chindoy, of the Kamentsa Biya community of the higher Putumayo, the cold region of the Colombian Amazon.
In the year 2009, being ordained as a Taita by the elder Taita Guillermo Mavisoy Mutumbajoy, he started his career as a Traditional Doctor of Sacred Plants and serving medicine for over eight years in various cities of his homeland, Colombia. Currently, he resides in the United States and holds Ayahuasca-Yage ceremonies in various states, such as Florida, California, Texas, New Hampshire, and New York.

Giampiero Scattolon
Giampiero M. Scattolon was Born in Lima, Peru, and grew up in Los Angeles, CA. Currently, he lives in Merrimack, NH.
After being diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) he worked closely together with a team of mental health professionals at the Veterans Affairs (VA) Healthcare System in Long Beach, CA. His life became a bit more manageable despite the diagnosis. And yet he felt that there was a key component missing in his life.
After much research and contemplation, he felt the call to participate in his first Ayahuasca Ceremony in January 2019.
He considers his first Ayahuasca experience one of his top life-changing experiences, being a close second place next to his being present at the birth of his first child.
In early 2021 while working in a supporting role at an Ayahuasca Center in Southern New Hampshire, he decided to become a student of Ayahuasca, and quickly he understood that this would be futile without a teacher. And soon after that, he was introduced to Taita Hector Alirio Ortiz Jimenez from Colombia.
Giampiero is now a disciple of Taita Hector and seeks to continue learning about Ayahuasca – Yage and about the cultures that have used this peculiar Sacrament for millennia to connect with that which is considered sacred.
