The tobacco leaves have various medicinal uses, including Rapé. We also prepare tobacco tea used as a purging agent, detoxing the liver and stomach. It also provides results that are highly esoteric, like purification of the aura and balancing the energy of the body. Some Taitas use the dried tobacco to generate incenses and blow on the patients to cleanse their chakras.
